AB DJs weddings because he loves the moments that bring people together. “I like doing my part to make them feel special and personal for each couple,” he says.
Of Cuban descent, AB grew up hearing salsa at home. While playing music for friends and roommates, he noticed how much people reacted to the tracks he chose. That inspired him to buy his first controller and start DJing seriously.
He’s been DJing for seven years and has played at bars across NYC, including Nitehawk Cinema, where he also works as a bar manager.
AB shares our minimal approach to announcements, focusing on great music and a packed dance floor.
Originally from South Florida, AB now lives in Bushwick. When he’s not DJing, he enjoys skateboarding, basketball, and digging through record stores.
