Dre DJs weddings because he loves bringing people together on the dance floor. “Reading a room and finding the songs that connect everyone… that’s the best part of what I do,” he said.
He’s DJed hundreds of weddings, along with years of underground raves. He started at 15 after his mother bought him turntables. From there he moved into bars and casinos, eventually opening for artists like Todd Terry, Bingo Players and Liquid Stranger.
Dre is an indie metalhead, a guitarist, and spent years playing in metal bands. He’s also of Guatemalan heritage and has extensive experience at blended Spanish/English weddings. He’s worked in Polish, Slovakian, and Brazilian bars and clubs too.
Today, weddings are what fulfill him. Dre will work closely with you to create a personalized playlist and keep the energy flowing all night. He shares our minimal-announcement style — focused on music, not hype.
Dre was born and raised in Trenton, NJ, where he still lives. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
