"I love music — music is the sound of love," Joro says. "A wedding takes us back to the origins of why we gather: for ceremony, dance, and celebration." Based in Hudson, NY, he brings this spirit to every event he DJs.

Joro’s DJ journey began with a midnight call to fill in at a bar, leading to a seven-year residency and eventually to stages like Lincoln Center, SummerStage NYC, and international festivals. Still, his favorite memory remains DJing his own wedding, side by side with his wife.​

 

When he’s not behind the decks, he’s collecting music, crafting with natural materials like wood and stone, and speaking fluent Bulgarian and French, and conversational Spanish and Russian.

 

Along the way, he’s shared stages with legends like Lou Reed, Debbie Harry, Iggy Pop, Questlove, and Sufjan Stevens. As a Hudson Valley wedding DJ, he offers a local’s touch, often saving couples the extra cost of travel fees.
